This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") forms part of our Terms of Service and sets out the conduct we require from every user of FICAVault.
1. You must not
- upload forged, tampered with, or unlawfully obtained documents;
- upload personal information about another individual or entity without lawful authority to do so;
- use FICAVault to facilitate money laundering, terrorist financing, tax evasion, sanctions evasion or fraud;
- impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation;
- attempt to circumvent authentication, OTP, rate limiting or any security control;
- probe, scan or test the vulnerability of the Service without our prior written consent (see our responsible-disclosure contact);
- use bots, scrapers or automated tools against the platform, except through interfaces we expressly provide;
- resell, sublicense or white-label the Service without a written agreement;
- upload malware, viruses or content designed to harm the platform or other users;
- use the Service in a way that infringes intellectual-property rights or applicable law.
2. Sharing responsibly
FICAVault's sharing flow is designed so that you approve every disclosure. Only approve requests from institutions you recognise and trust. If in doubt, deny the request and contact the institution using details you obtain independently.
3. Business and institution accounts
Business and Institution customers must ensure their team members and linked clients understand and comply with this AUP. Suspicious activity from any team member may result in suspension of the whole account pending investigation.
4. Reporting abuse
If you become aware of a breach of this AUP or a compromise of the platform, email security@ficavault.app immediately.
5. Consequences
We may investigate suspected violations, remove offending content, suspend or terminate accounts, and report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
